Reducing costs and human suffering can be reached better by integrating existing government and community based programs.  Greater results can be achieved through the use of many voices with a common cause speaking with one collective message through the efforts of Injury Free Nova Scotia.

Financial costs in treating preventable injury are high. Subsequently, government resources, our taxes, are limited in other areas, or, are limited in sufficient, accessible treatment for other medical needs.  Although the financial costs and limitations are of major concern, the greatest cost of all is in human suffering and loss.
